Deckhand/Mate

Position: Deck/Mate - Seasonal - US Passport or Green Card Required

**Location:** Sag Harbor, US  
**Duration:** End of May until October 31st  
**Itinerary:** Local to Sag Harbor - New England  

**Requirements:**
- US Citizen or green card holder.
- Valid STCW certification with refresher.
- ENG1 medical certificate.
- Positive references from previous employers.
- Prior yachting experience.
- Positive attitude, calm demeanor, team-oriented, enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle.

**Qualifications:**
- No license required, but previous experience as a deck/mate is essential.
- Ability to handle exterior maintenance tasks including cleaning, polishing, handling lines and fenders, etc.
- Comfortable working in a small crew setup with just a Captain/Engineer and deck/mate.
- Familiarity with serving up to 8 guests.

**Responsibilities:**
- Perform exterior maintenance tasks to ensure the yacht is kept in top condition.
- Assist with cleaning, polishing, and maintaining lines and fenders.
- Collaborate closely with the Captain/Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
- Provide excellent service to guests when required.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation onboard.

**Additional Information:**
- This is a live-off position; candidates must have their own accommodations and transportation to commute to the boat.
- Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines, commensurate with experience.
