2nd Officer

**Position:** 2nd Officer  
**Location:** West Palm Beach, USA (crossing to Barcelona in three weeks)

We are seeking a qualified and motivated 2nd Officer with an Officer of the Watch (OOW) 3000 GT certification. New OOW holders will also be considered for this position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic crew on a significant transatlantic crossing.

**Responsibilities:**
- Overseeing the Life-Saving Appliances (LSA) and ensuring they are in excellent working condition
- Conducting regular safety drills and training for the crew
- Supervising and managing the deck crew in daily operations
- Performing navigational watch duties and assisting with bridge operations
- Ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations and standards
- Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and tender operations
- Maintaining the vessel’s exterior and equipment

**Role Breakdown:**
- 60% Deck duties
- 40% Bridge duties

**Requirements:**
- Valid OOW 3000 GT certification
- Strong knowledge of LSA and safety drill procedures
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Proficiency in navigational duties and bridge operations
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1 medical certificate (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

**Contract:** Standard MLC Contract
