Captain

**Position:** Captain/Engineer  
**Location:** Florida-based after the summer (for sale)

**Yacht:** 32m / 106' Motor Yacht Private- US flag

**Requirements:**  
- USCG or YM 200+ with solid mechanical/engineering knowledge  
- STCW+ Refresher  
- ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)  
- US Passport valid for minimum 1 year / or Green card  
- Covid vaccination ideally  
- Experience cruising New England - US East Coast  
- Must be able to pass a background and drug check  

**Responsibilities:**  
- Running a successful and enjoyable/safe owner program  
- Vessel runs with 3-4 crew and up to 6 overnight guests - family boat with teenagers onboard  
- Hands-on leadership and accounting/bookkeeping  
- Maintain high standards and a clean safety record  

**Additional Information:**  
- Ideally full-time position, suitable for a Captain willing to be based in Ft. Lauderdale after the summer season  
- Must be experienced on similar sized yachts as a Captain (100'+)  
- Strong engineering skills, including electrical systems and troubleshooting  
- Well-spoken, well-presented, honest, and reliable  

**Package:**  
- Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience (USD)  
- Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc., to be finalized during the interview process  

This is a private yacht under 500gt with no commercial registration. There are 2 crew cabins available. Delivery crew will take the boat from FTL to NE on May 28th. The Captain can join before or after this date.
