2nd Engineer

**Position:** 2nd Engineer Watchkeeper  
**Location:** Currently in Dubai, crossing to Europe end of May  
**Start Date:** ASAP  

**Description:**  
We are seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer Watchkeeper with an STCW certification to join our team. The yacht is currently located in Dubai and will be crossing to Europe at the end of May. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in marine engineering, and be ready to start immediately.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining and operating all mechanical and electrical systems on board.
- Stand engineering watch and monitor the performance of the yacht's systems.
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Record and report any technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of the yacht's crossing to Europe.
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth vessel operations.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid STCW certification.
- Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer on a similar-sized yacht.
- Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid ENG1 medical certificate.
