### Job Description
An incredible opportunity is available for an experienced Housekeeper to join a lovely family in their beautifully renovated secondary residence near St Tropez. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working in a fully staffed private household and can work seamlessly with another housekeeper to ensure the highest standards are maintained in an 8-bedroom home.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **General Housekeeping:** Professional cleaning tasks such as dusting, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, and cleaning bathrooms.
- **Laundry:** Exclusive care for delicate fabrics such as silk and cashmere.
- **Food and Beverage Service:** Laying and clearing tables, and providing table service when required.
- **Light Cooking:** Breakfast preparation and occasional light cooking for the family.
- **Shopping and Errands:** Grocery shopping, arranging dry cleaning, and other errands like visiting the post office.
- **Coordination:** Supervising and liaising with other staff members (gardener, cleaner) and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.
**Essential Criteria:**
- **Experience:** Proven professional experience as a housekeeper in a UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) private household with a focus on longevity in previous roles.
- **Knowledge:** Excellent understanding of cleaning products and techniques for high-end furnishings and surfaces.
- **Skills:** Independent, proactive, discreet, and unobtrusive in approach. Basic cooking skills for breakfast and light meals.
- **Languages:** Fluency in English and/or German.
- **Flexibility:** Willingness to work weekends and during the holiday season.
- **Driving:** Full EU driving license is essential.
- **Legal:** Right to live and work in the EU.
- **References:** Excellent, checkable references from previous employers.
**Working Hours:**
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility required for weekends and public holidays.
**Accommodation:**
- If needed, accommodation will be provided in a separate, shared 4-bedroom home, with a private en-suite bathroom.
