### Job Advertisement: Live-In Estate Manager/Maintenance/Chauffeur/Security - Pulborough, West Sussex

#### Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Live-In Estate Manager/Maintenance/Chauffeur/Security professional for a large country house estate in Pulborough, West Sussex. The position involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the property, providing chauffeur services, and ensuring the security of the estate. This role is perfect for someone with a background in domestic service, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach.

#### Schedule:
- **Working Hours:** 8-hour day between 8am – 8pm, Monday to Sunday
- **Working Days:** 5 days a week on a rota, flexible to cover weekends when needed
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Salary:** £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
- **Accommodation:** Cottage close to the residence with a fully functioning kitchen, living area, and king bedroom

#### Essential Requirements:
- Must live in the UK
- Experience in domestic service
- Formal qualification in one of the Trades (ideal)
- Longevity in a previous similar position
- Fluent English with good communication skills
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to travel with principals
- Child and pet friendly
- Clean driving license

#### Daily Essential Tasks:
- Conduct thorough walkarounds of the property to ensure all systems (TVs, lighting, music, climate, security, maintenance) are functioning properly
- Act as the first responder to household issues (repairs, breakages, maintenance)
- Ensure garden furniture is clean and set up for use
- Uncover swimming pool and clean the terrace (weather and family movements permitting)
- Collect deliveries and distribute to relevant staff
- Manage garbage disposal and ensure bins are emptied
- Assist housekeeping team with animal care
- Maintain primary household vehicles (clean, fuel, perform maintenance checks)
- Respond to faults/calls (e.g., fire alarms, power cuts) on a rota basis
- Monitor security systems and oversee contractors, ensuring CCTV functionality

#### Additional Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Organize laundry for garden cushions and covers
- Complete repairs and touch-ups, coordinating with the house manager
- Maintain swimming pool and tennis court
- Ensure exterior property maintenance (driveways, windows, etc.)
- Schedule servicing for household machinery and appliances
- Organize vehicle servicing, MOTs, and repairs
- Maintain garage cleanliness and organization
- Maintain BBQ and pizza equipment (spring/summer), and fireplace (autumn/winter)
- Suggest improvements and future works on the household in line with budget strategy
