3rd Engineer

**Position:** Temporary 3rd Engineer

**Yacht:** 120m+ Northern European Build

**Location:** Mediterranean (Med)

**Contract Duration:** 10 weeks

**Start Date:** ASAP, latest by 20th May

**Salary:** Between $7,000 - $8,000 USD

**Requirements:**
- Prior experience on large yachts, preferably 80m+
- Hold an Engine Officer of the Watch (EOOW) Unlimited or equivalent ticket
- Available to start immediately, latest by 20th May
- Able to commit to a 10-week contract
- Strong technical background and experience in marine engineering

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a temporary 3rd Engineer to cover a team member's leave on a prestigious 120m+ Northern European build yacht. The yacht will be cruising in the Mediterranean with guests on board for the duration of the contract.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of all engineering systems onboard
- Carry out routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer
- Monitor and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the yacht
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Assist in emergency response procedures as needed

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 3rd Engineer with prior large yacht experience to join a prestigious vessel for a temporary assignment. Candidates must hold an EOOW Unlimited or equivalent ticket and be available to start immediately, latest by 20th May.
