### Job Advertisement: Daily Housekeeper/Family Cook - Dunmow, Essex

#### Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Daily Housekeeper/Family Cook for a large 5-bedroom family home in Dunmow, Essex. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and friendly, with a keen eye for detail and confidence in the kitchen. You will be responsible for maintaining the home, preparing meals, and occasionally dog sitting for the family's three large, friendly dogs.

#### Schedule:
- **Hours:** 9-5, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility to be discussed)
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Salary:** £40,000 - £42,000 gross per annum

#### Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a large family home
- Organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail
- Confident in the kitchen, able to prepare fresh, healthy meals
- Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
- Good communication skills and fluent English
- Must love dogs and be willing to dog sit occasionally
- Driver with own car essential
- Team player

#### Job Summary:
You will work for a principal who lives with three dogs and has adult children who visit. The home also employs a full-time estate manager and a gardener, with weekly cleaners coming twice a week for deep cleaning tasks. Your responsibilities will include daily housekeeping, meal preparation, and general home management.

#### General Duties:
- **Housekeeping:**
 - Daily cleaning and tidying
 - Laundry and ironing
 - Making and changing beds
 - Seasonal rotation of decorations
 - Wardrobe management
 - Management of out house/gym

- **Cooking:**
 - Prepare fresh, healthy light lunches and dinners
 - Batch cooking for the freezer
 - Ensure the fridge is stocked

- **Dog Sitting:**
 - Occasional dog sitting with additional pay
 - Ensuring the dogs are well cared for

- **Other Responsibilities:**
 - Shopping and local errands
 - Packing and unpacking suitcases for the principal
 - Receiving deliveries and answering the phone/door

#### Additional Information:
- Enhanced DBS check will be required
- Excellent checkable references required
- Two days off per week
