**Vessel:** 60m Private Motor Yacht

**Minimum SV:** 3000kw

**Start Date:** July 2024

**Location:** Greece

**Experience:** 5 Years

**Contract:** Permanent (non-rotational)

**Leave:** 40 days plus 8 official holidays

**Salary:** $14,000 per month

**Flight Allowance:** $2,000

**Annual Salary Review:** 5-10%

**Visas:** B1B2 and Schengen

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a strong Chief Engineer to join a 60m private motor yacht beginning July 2024. This is a non-rotational position, with the vessel typically spending winters in the Caribbean and summers in the Mediterranean, with occasional surprise visits to other destinations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of yachting experience and must be a non-smoker. Both male and female candidates are welcome to apply.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and manage all engineering operations onboard
- Maintain and repair all machinery and systems to ensure smooth operation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Manage and mentor engineering team members
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules and projects
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the engineering department

**Requirements:**
- Minimum SV of 3000kw
- 5 years of yachting experience
- Non-smoker
- Valid B1B2 and Schengen visas
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
