Chief Engineer

**Position:** Rotation Chief Engineer  
**Yacht Type:** 55M Lurssen  
**Rotation:** 2 months on, 2 months off  
**Seasons:** Dual season  
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the engineering department during the assigned rotation
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all engineering systems
- Coordinate with the captain and other department heads to ensure smooth operations
- Manage the engineering team and delegate tasks effectively
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns  

**Requirements:**
- Chief Engineer Y4 or equivalent certification
- Extensive experience in a similar role on yachts of comparable size
- Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a rotational schedule
- Familiarity with dual-season operations is preferred
