Chief Officer/1st Mate

Position Available: First Mate for 37-meter Motor Yacht

Location: Summer 2024 Caribbean, Winter 2024/25 South Florida, Bahamas, and Caribbean (TBD)

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation Package: Above Industry Standard (negotiable DOE)

Job Description:
We are seeking a First Mate for a 37-meter Motor Yacht with previous charter experience to assist the Captain in developing a strong foundation for a busy private and charter program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hospitality mentality, fostering a culture of excellence and service among all crew members. This opportunity offers a wonderful owner and a professionally managed program.

Skills and Attributes Required:
- Strong knowledge of all Bridge, Navigation, Safety, and Deck Procedures
- Proven leadership skills, leading by example with a strong work ethic
- Proficient handling skills for large tenders and all aspects of anchoring
- Proven ISM and MLC compliance/knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation

Qualifications Required:
- YMO minimum (OOW 500 preferred)
- STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
- Seafarers Medical Certificate
- Valid B1 Visa

Additional Requirements:
- Non-Smokers
- No Visible Tattoos
- Males only due to cabin arrangements
