Chief Officer/1st Mate

**Position:** Chief Officer

**Yacht:** Private 140' Motor Yacht

**Start Date:** 19th May 2024 or before

**Leave:** Standard MLC leave

**Salary:** $8500 USD per month + Depending on Experience (DOE)

**Flag:** Bahamas

**Requirements:**
- Master 200gt certification
- 1-2 years of previous officer experience on yachts of a similar size
- Tender driving skills are essential
- Additional skills/qualifications are beneficial

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a Chief Officer to join a private 140' motor yacht. The ideal candidate will hold a Master 200gt certification and have 1-2 years of previous officer experience on yachts of around the same size. Tender driving skills are a must for this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Captain in the overall operation of the vessel
- Supervise deck crew and assist with their training and development
- Ensure the safety of guests, crew, and the vessel at all times
- Maintain navigational equipment and safety systems
- Oversee deck maintenance, including painting, varnishing, and detailing
- Manage tender operations and water sports activities
- Assist with guest activities and ensure their satisfaction
- Handle paperwork and administrative tasks as required
