Chief Officer/1st Mate

### Position: Chief Officer

**Yacht:** 40m Private Motor Yacht

**Location:** Turkey

**Start Date:** July 1, 2024

**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and manage the deck team and general operation of the vessel.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operation are maintained at all times.
- Coordinate and participate in water activities, ensuring fun and safety for the family and guests.
- Handle paperwork and administrative duties efficiently and accurately.
- Provide strong leadership and foster a positive working environment for the crew.

**Requirements:**
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates.
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate with no restrictions.
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD).
- Minimum of 5+ years of yachting experience.
- Minimum OOW (Officer of the Watch) certification, with a preference for Chief Mate ticket holders.
- Experience with popular bridge electronic brands.
- MTU experience is advantageous.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills, professionalism, and care for the crew.
- Good health and sobriety.
- No visible tattoos and a non-smoker.
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 (booster shots not required).
- Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.
- Sporty and passionate about watersports.
