**Position:** Chief Officer/1st Mate  
**Location:** Currently in San Diego, heading west into the Pacific (Tahiti, Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Officer/1st Mate for a busy yacht with an active schedule. This position requires a highly skilled individual capable of managing various responsibilities on a dynamic and fast-paced journey.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assisting the Captain in all navigational and operational duties
- Overseeing the deck crew and ensuring all deck operations are carried out efficiently
- Conducting regular safety drills and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations
- Planning and executing itineraries and passages
- Maintaining the yacht’s equipment and exterior in pristine condition
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth yacht operations
- Handling mooring, anchoring, and tender operations
- Providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a high standard of hospitality

**Requirements:**
- Extensive experience as a Chief Officer/1st Mate on similar-sized yachts
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent navigational and seamanship abilities
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1 medical certificate (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in using navigational software and equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a busy schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
